The Short Hippari Jacket

Like the Long Hippari Coat, this jacket iis a variation on a traditional Japanese field jacket called a hippari. It differs from a haori in that it has a front overlap.

This version is made from a subtle woven stripe silk, fully lined in hand block printed silk. It closes in a hand made frog tie. The two layers offer a lightweight jacket that goes from office to dinner, or with jeans for a unique wrap.

This jacket fits quite generously.
