Short Haori Jackets

Fine wool gabardine trimmed with vintage Indonesian Ikat band.

A haori is a traditional kimono shaped jacket from Japan worn over the kimono. It is made much like a kimono, but without the overlap. Typically, it is loose fitting with a vented underarm seam and has braided ties inside to close it loosly in front.

Hillesø & Company's interpretation includes a full silk lining, side pockets, and a loose band made of a beautiful handmade fabric and hand painted linings.

Fine wool tweed with fully painted lining.

Dressed up or down, worn with a skirt dress or pants, this jacket can go anywhere - to the board room, to dinner or shopping.
