This coat was originally constructed with scraps - pieces of beautifully handwoven chenille fabrics from Frittelli & Lockwood. Utilizing the shape of the scraps, I created this garment. It is unlined with all edges bound in silk shantung. The back is shaped with criss-crossed tasseled ties.

It is asymmetric with turned up points secured with buttons. The tasseled shantung belt finishes the coat. It is a fun and striking piece to wear!
