Silk Brocade "Ao Dai" Ensemble

Beautifully hand made with extensive hand sewn detailing, this is a wonderfully comfortable and elegant party ensemble.

Vietnamese styled "ao dai" (pronounced ow-yiii) long tunic and pant ensemble. Made of lightweight silk brocade handwoven in India, this semi-fitted tunic is fully lined in gold silk habotai, trimmed with gold silk charmeuse piping and hand-stitched burgundy bias binding. Burgundy silk frogs form the closure. The tunic is open from the waist down to reveal burgundy silk charmeuse pants underneath.

The pant is unlined with French seams throughout, a slightly raised waist finished with grosgrain ribbon facing and back invisible zipper. The hem of the pant features an outside pleat and grosgrain ribbon hem facing to fall gently and gracefully over your shoe. This pant can be worn separately with alternate tops.
