Beaded Dragon Haori

This beautifully hand beaded jacket was made as a Japanese Haori, a kimono like jacket that is highly embellished. The jacket is fully lined in teal silk charmeuse matching the teal silk shantung fabrics of the jacket. Inside, there are two pockets utilizing fragments of an antique Chinese robe. Hand-made corded inside ties complete the special jacket.

The beading represents the Dragon (the Emperor) and the Phoenix (the Emperess). The colors are teal and light blue.
